Thick pork chops with salt and pepper​​​​​​

The secret to juicy pork chops? Buy the thickest ones you can find. They are more difficult to toast and the results are delicious and tender.

Ingredients:


  • 2 boneless pork chops;
  • salt and pepper;
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter;

 

Method of preparation:


  1. Heat the oven to 230 °C.
  2. Brush the pork chops with peanut butter and season the front, back and sides of the pork chops generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Gradually heat a cast iron skillet on the stove to medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the pork chops for 1-1½ minutes on each side.
  5. Remove from the heat and bake in the oven for 4-6 minutes.
  6. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
